Join our team as a Value Added Assembly Production Technician on 2nd shift. In this hands-on role, you’ll assemble, finish, inspect, and package parts that require additional processing beyond molding.
Job Description
Primary responsibilities include the following:
- On site regular and reliable attendance is required
- Read and follow detailed work instructions to assemble parts
- Operate assembly equipment (mills, drills, punch presses, sonic welders, pad printers, hot stampers, etc.)
- Trim and finish parts using hand tools (X-Acto knives, clippers, pliers)
- Assemble components (with or without additional parts)
- Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and other tools
- Inspect parts for defects per control plans
- Document and report quality issues
- Package, label, and weigh finished products
- Assemble boxes for shipment
- Monitor scrap and complete reports as needed
- Support production needs and cross-train as required
- Follow all safety policies and Lean Manufacturing practices
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements & Working Conditions
High school diploma or GED (preferred) OR ability to read/write English and perform basic measurements
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
- Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, percentages)
- Basic computer skills (IQMS experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Problem-solving ability in a structured environment
- Active manufacturing floor (moderate to loud noise, moving machinery)
- Hearing protection is required in this department at all times.
- Regular standing and walking
- Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Use of hands, tools, and repetitive motion
- Bending, reaching, kneeling, and climbing as needed
- Visual requirements: close, distance, color, and depth perception
