Quality Technician 2nd Shift

Verify product compliance by measuring components, visual validation, testing components and performing verification/moistures.

2nd Shift Monday-Friday 2:30pm to 11:00pm
We have one opening on 2nd shift for a Quality Technician.  The Quality Technician ensures product compliance through inspection, measurement, and testing. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining quality standards across production. 
Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
  • On site regular and reliable attendance is required.
  • Inspect and validate parts using control plans and quality documents
  • Perform visual inspections for defects
  • Use inspection tools: CMM, VMM, calipers, micrometers, indicators
  • Test materials using moisture analyzer and dew point reader
  • Record inspection results in IQMS
  • Maintain and track calibration of measurement equipment
  • Support RMR (Reject Material Reports) process
  • Troubleshoot quality issues and assist production teams
  • Collaborating with team leaders and supervisors
  • Drive continuous improvement in QC lab processes
  • Follow all safety policies and OSHA standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements & Working Conditions

High school diploma or GED (required), Associate degree in Quality or related field (preferred)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook; IQMS a plus)
  • Solid math skills (fractions, decimals, ratios, SPC, charts)
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Manufacturing/QC lab environment (moderate noise, moving equipment)
  • Standing and walking regularly; frequent sitting
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Use of hands for tools and inspection equipment
  • Vision requirements: close, color, and depth perception
  • Overtime as needed
