Quality Technician 2nd Shift
Verify product compliance by measuring components, visual validation, testing components and performing verification/moistures.
2nd Shift Monday-Friday 2:30pm to 11:00pm
We have one opening on 2nd shift for a Quality Technician. The Quality Technician ensures product compliance through inspection, measurement, and testing. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining quality standards across production.
Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
- On site regular and reliable attendance is required.
- Inspect and validate parts using control plans and quality documents
- Perform visual inspections for defects
- Use inspection tools: CMM, VMM, calipers, micrometers, indicators
- Test materials using moisture analyzer and dew point reader
- Record inspection results in IQMS
- Maintain and track calibration of measurement equipment
- Support RMR (Reject Material Reports) process
- Troubleshoot quality issues and assist production teams
- Collaborating with team leaders and supervisors
- Drive continuous improvement in QC lab processes
- Follow all safety policies and OSHA standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements & Working Conditions
High school diploma or GED (required), Associate degree in Quality or related field (preferred)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook; IQMS a plus)
- Solid math skills (fractions, decimals, ratios, SPC, charts)
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Manufacturing/QC lab environment (moderate noise, moving equipment)
- Standing and walking regularly; frequent sitting
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Use of hands for tools and inspection equipment
- Vision requirements: close, color, and depth perception
- Overtime as needed
