Quality Technician

Verify product compliance by measuring components, visual validation, testing components and performing verification/moistures.

2nd Shift Monday-Friday 2:30pm to 11:00pm

We have one opening on 2nd shift for a Quality Technician. The Quality Technician ensures product compliance through inspection, measurement, and testing. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining quality standards across production.

Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

On site regular and reliable attendance is required.
Inspect and validate parts using control plans and quality documents
Perform visual inspections for defects
Use inspection tools: CMM, VMM, calipers, micrometers, indicators
Test materials using moisture analyzer and dew point reader
Record inspection results in IQMS
Maintain and track calibration of measurement equipment
Support RMR (Reject Material Reports) process
Troubleshoot quality issues and assist production teams
Collaborating with team leaders and supervisors
Drive continuous improvement in QC lab processes
Follow all safety policies and OSHA standards
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook; IQMS a plus)
Solid math skills (fractions, decimals, ratios, SPC, charts)
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Manufacturing/QC lab environment (moderate noise, moving equipment)

Standing and walking regularly; frequent sitting
Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Use of hands for tools and inspection equipment
Vision requirements: close, color, and depth perception
Overtime as needed
