Quality Engineer

We are located in Manitowoc, WI, and have an immediate opportunity for a Quality Engineer. Primary responsibilities include serving as a primary liaison between Quality, Engineering & Manufacturing operations for projects and programs. Ensures design document requirements are in place for product, process & test method verifications & validations in accordance with Customer Specifications & Design Control Requirements.
We’re seeking candidates with a Bachelors or Associates degree in Quality; min. of 3 years relevant quality experience; prior experience in a plastics injection molding manufacturing environment; APQP experience; TS 16949 knowledge; computer proficiency with statistical software programs, Word & Excel; excellent verbal, written & interpersonal communication skills. Plastic injection molding industry experience and CQE or CQA certification preferred.
Must have a strong working knowledge of regulations & standards including FDA QSR, ISO, MDD, IVDD, etc. Experience with process validation & verification activities, FMEA & root cause/cause & effect analysis also required. Must have experience using statistical techniques & methods.

Manufacturing Engineer

We have an immediate opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes.
Primary responsibilities include the following:

Evaluate, propose, and implement improvements to manufacturing processes & procedures to maximize efficiencies, profits & ensure employee safety.

Act as liaison between project engineers and manufacturing personnel to ensure efficient production methods.

Evaluate customer situations to determine root cause & assist Quality & Manufacturing personnel in resolving situation.

Represent the company with vendors & customers in a professional manner.

Lead and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives of the company.
A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering or equivalent on-the-job experience in the field of injection molding/assembly is required. Certification in Lean Manufacturing and experience with Six Sigma methodologies & automated manufacturing strongly preferred.
