Value Added Services

Value added services, also referred to as secondary operations, are an important part of Kaysun’s offering to its customers and to delivering a cost effective solution to a complex manufacturing challenge.

Value added services achieve specific requirements and Kaysun offers a full array of such secondary operations including:

  • Sonic welding
  • Machining plastics
  • Heat staking
  • Insert assembly
  • Potting/sealing

Other custom manufacturers offer similar value added services.  So why Kaysun?  Our clients get the benefit of having one partner that can design the entire manufacturing and assembly process and identify where in the process to incorporate a desired feature:  in the mold or as a secondary operation?  This saves our clients time and money.

You can count on Kaysun and its engineering team to design the most effective and efficient complete manufacturing process.  We will look across the entire process to leverage our in-house value added services while eliminating unnecessary and costly secondary operations that can be more effectively achieved within the manufacturing process.

Product Assembly

As a custom plastic injection molding manufacturer, we have the expertise in all areas of custom contract manufacturing of tight tolerance plastic products from two shot molding to ultrasonic plastic welding and assemblies. Our services cover the full life-cycle from plastics design through assembly and packaging for our clients.  We often help our clients finalize the product design to promote more efficient manufacturing and assembly.

Most of our client’s products are complex designs for a variety of reasons. It may be the geometric dimensions, its critical use, the material being thin-walled or very thick walled or the number of components that need to be assembled including circuit boards, plating or sealing.

The Kaysun team delivers value within the assembly process by taking full accountability whether the process is fully automated or requires hand assembly of components.
